The city of Manchester is one of England’s most prestigious cultural centers, vibrant, with a beautiful historic center and continuous urban expansion.

I also liked the Oxford Road train station; I was impressed by the side staircase that leads to the station.

I thought of installing a sculpture representing the face and hand of a thinking man, wearing a smartwatch that displays a graphic scale with the caption “Think positive!”.

The installation gives new energy to the place.

A tribute to my beloved Manchester and its inhabitants.

La città di Manchester è uno dei centri culturali più prestigiosi dell’Inghilterra, vitale, con un bel centro storico ed in continua espansione urbana.

Anche la stazione dei treni di Oxford Road mi è piaciuta, mi ha stupito la scala laterale che porta alla stazione.

Ho pensato di installare una scultura che rappresenta il volto e la mano di un uomo che pensa, al polso ha uno smartwatch che visualizza una scala grafica e nella vignetta c’è scritto “Think positive!”.

L’installazione dà una nuova energia al luogo.

Un omaggio alla mia amata Manchester ed ai suoi abitanti.
